LSIS’s power solution products received two Winner’s Awards at the 2009 iF Design Awards, which are known as "The Oscars of Design."
LSIS announced on February 14 2019 that the GIMAC i EX and DMP I, its leading power distribution solution products, received the Winner’s Award in the Product - Industry/Tools category at the 2009 iF Design Awards. The iF International Forum Design, which is the world's oldest independent design organization held in Hanover, Germany, annually presents the iF Design Awards for outstanding designs, which are judged by a committee of more than seventy experts from many countries.
More than 6,400 entries from 50 countries competed for the awards in 2019. The winning products, the GIMAC i EX and the DMP I, are LSIS’s leading power distribution solutions.
The GIMAC i EX is a digital instrument for power monitoring systems that uses the high-speed data communication network to check measured data from the power receipt and distribution panel, while the DMP i is a comprehensive digital motor protection relay that protects the performance of various monitors. Representing the new design identity of LSIS, these two products received a complimentary review of their designs, whose appearance was judged to match product performance, and highlighted the functional aspect that enables intuitive use in a variety of environments. Industrial products tend to overlook design as they focus on reliability and stability. The fact that LSIS has received multipleawards at the iF Design Awards, which is somewhat rare for power devices, amounts to official recognition that we have the world's best quality as well as the best design competitiveness," an official at LSIS said.
